About

Our Story

Born from the premium grape growing region of the Clare Valley in South Australia, Farrell Wines is the result of a passion to create wine from the finest wine making region in Australia to produce premium quality handcrafted wines.

Situated in the historic town of Sevenhill in the Clare Valley, the bridge in the Farrell Wines Logo is the key to visitors finding the vineyards that grow the grapes to produce the amazing wines.

Originally built in 1919, the rail bridge is a reminder of much simpler times that adds to the charm of the historic Clare Valley. Totally refurbished after a devastating fire, the famous red bridge is now part of the Riesling Trail for cyclists and tourists exploring the area.

Located 130 Kilometres north of Adelaide, Sevenhill was founded by Jesuit Brothers in 1850. A Jesuit priest named the town after the Seven Hills of Rome.
